Dry-Dock 10 will be operational again in early May 2017 after the complete rehabilitation of the pump room. During the month of April, the port will dry shape and conduct final tests in a real situation. At the end of April 2017, Chantier Naval de Marseille (CNM), the operator designated by the port in 2012, will take possession of Dry- Dock 10. It will then have the technical capacity to start Its repair activities immediately
Dry-Dock 10, which has been in service in 1975 and has not been used since 2000, required a refit before being handed over to its operator. The port has thus led to the renovation of the power grids, the pumping station, the tools and the original boat-door.
With the return to service of Dry-Dock 10, the largest in the Mediterranean, the port of Marseille Fos creates an exceptional industrial naval repair center made up of three Dry-Docks with, operated since 2010 by the CNM.
