USNS Trenton (T-EPF-5) is a Spearhead-class expeditionary fast transport used to support overseas operations, conduct humanitarian aid and disaster relief, and support special operations forces.

Major works completed on board of USNS Trenton during last project performed in Marseille at CNM shipyard in 2017:

  • Security Barriers (floating & ashore) with armed guard 24h/7d
  • Structural inspection of the aluminum hulls executed by certified international welding inspectors
  • Various aluminum inserts on side shell and weld cracks repair executed by certified welders
  • Sewage tank inspection blast and recoat
  • Install anti-slip on aft main deck
  • Deadweight survey and lightweight estimation
  • Catwalk installation inside forepeak
  • Reduction gears, bearings, main and aux engines assistance during maintenance and fin stabilizers maintenance
  • Waterjets and seat rings inspection and maintenance (complete dismounting and inspection of the directional parts
  • Clean ship’s switchboards, load centers and transformers
  • Navigation equipment calibration and service
  • Maintenance of stern ramp and crane including substitution of all the hp hoses and sewage plant and reverse osmosis maintenance
  • Maintenance of rescue boat and other safety/fire fighting apparatus and clean vent ducts and hvac system maintenance
